About Institute

The College was established in June 15, 1996 with the sole aim of serving in the field of education, specially to the students coming from remote parts of the state. In fact, this co-educational institution is the result of constant and continuous efforts of socially and academically committed philanthropists and educationists that belong to the Gandhinagar Charitable Trust. The chief beneficiaries are those students who come from the diverse area of the region, especially from the remote villages of South Gujarat. The majority of these boys and girls belong to Scheduled Tribes (ST), Scheduled Castes (SC) and Other Backward Class (OBC). The visionary and altruistic members of the Trust ensure accommodation of the students in local hostels run by Govt. of Gujarat for ST, SC and OBC. During the last academic year (2007-08) the ratio of SC, ST and OBC students was 66%
